About American Track & Field
American Track & Field is a professional publication
dedicated to the improvement of both the image and the
performance of American athletes in the disciplines of track
and field, cross country, and race walking. We take a grass
roots approach to improving the quality of coaching to the
1.51 million serious athletes in these disciplines by
becoming the source of training information.American Track & Field is published six times a year, with
bonus issues in World Champs and Olympic years. Topics
covered include individual event training, coaching profiles,
sports nutrition, sports psychology, profiles of top athletes,
reviews of major world athletic events, event reports on US
championships, and Camera Athletica, a photo essay on
the top events in our sport. American Track & Field is an official media partner with U.S.

Circulation Methodology
Our focus group is the head high school, college and
community college and club track & field and cross country
coach. We guarantee a circulation of 40,000 per issue,
which includes 37, 553 unduplicated head coaches
(approximately 22,000 are full time, and 16,000 are
part-time or one sport coaches). We also give out our
magazines at coaches clinics and over 100 track and cross
country events around the U.S.To recieve a free qualified subscription to American Track &
Field, we must recieve a written request, either by Fax, Email
or snail mail, saying " Yes, I would like a free subscription to
American Track & Field." It must be dated, with the coaches'
name, school address or club address and phone number.
It also must state which sport you coach, and if it is boys or
girls, men or women or both. All others will be charged for subscriptions, a new service
from our publications, which is under development. Please
