Jager Named USATF Athlete of the Week
INDIANAPOLIS – 2012 Olympian Evan Jager has been named USA Track & Field’s Athlete of the Week following his American record performance in finishing third in the men’s 3,000m steeplechase at the Monaco Diamond League meet Friday.
Demps Added to Team USA Roster
BIRMINGHAM - Jeff Demps (Winter Garden, Fla.) has been added to Team USA’s roster for the London 2012 Olympic Games as a member of the 4x100m relay pool. Demps will serve as a replacement for Mike Rodgers (Round Rock, Texas) who suffered a stress fracture in his left foot.
More than 150 London Olympians have Performed at The Armory
New York, July 24, 2012 - When the 2012 Olympic Games' Opening Ceremony begins July 27, many of the world's most famous track & field athletes in London can count The Armory as a place where they showcased their extraordinary talents. As many as 156 athletes competing in the 2012 Olympics have performed at The New Balance Track & Field Center at The Armory.

Thanks to brilliant performances at the recent U.S. Olympic Team Trials – Track & Field, Ashton Eaton has been named Athlete of the Month by the United States Olympic Committee while Allyson Felix finished third in the women’s voting for the month of June. The USOC made the announcement Wednesday.

Asafa Powell, the man who has now run eighty sub ten second 100 meter races, has withdrawn from the AVIVA London GP this weekend. This was confirmed in press release issues this morning, Friday, 13 July, local London time.

Usain Bolt's agent revealed that the triple Olympic champion has made a full recovery from muscle tightness that hampered him at the Jamaican Olympic trials and is training normally and "good to go" to defend his titles in London.
