Joanna Hayes, Monique Hennagan, Marcus Brunson and Ron Bramlett won their respective events Sunday in leading Team USA at the "Russian Challenge" USA vs. Russia dual meet in Moscow.

After her electrifying gold medal winning performance at the Olympic Games last month in Athens, Hayes continued her domination in the women's 100m hurdles with her win in 12.78 seconds. Russia's Mariya Koroteeva was the runner-up in 12.86, with Jenny Adams third in 13.08.

Hennagan entered Sunday's action after winning a gold medal in the women's 4x400m relay in Athens. Hennagan easily defeated her three Russian rivals in the women's 400 meters in 50.63 seconds. Russia's Natalya Antyukh was the runner-up in 51.57.

In men's action, 2001 World University Games gold medalist Marcus Brunson won the men's 100 meters in 10.15 seconds, and two-time NCAA Outdoor champion Ron Bramlett won the 110m hurdles in 13.55 seconds.
