The 2006 IAAF World Indoor Track & Field Championships will be
telecast nationally on the Outdoor Life Network and Webcast live on the
Internet, USA Track & Field and the World Championship Sports
Network (WCSN) announced Sunday.The World Indoor Championships, to be held March 10-12 in Moscow,
will be telecast on OLN from 3-5 p.m. on Sunday, March 12, with
rebroadcast later in the month. A burgeoning cable network that reaches
64 million U.S. households, OLN broadcasts sporting events including
the Tour de France and the current NHL season.
The meet also will be Webcast via live Video on Demand, available at
www.wcsn.com, which also Webcast the 2005 World Outdoor
Championships in Athletics. The Website will unveil a new look on
March 6 and will offer a full Webcast schedule of European meets
throughout the summer.

follow Team USA as they head to Moscow to compete in the world's
biggest indoor track meet," said USATF CEO Craig A. Masback. "By
expanding the opportunities for track to be beamed into American
homes, via television and the Internet, our sport will continue to thrive
and grow its already substantial fan base."
WCSN will produce the telecast and Webcast in cooperation with the
IAAF and USATF, who also worked together to bring American viewers
television and live Webcast coverage of the 2005 World Outdoor
Championships.
