During the three days of the American Milers Club High Performance Series a total of 22 performances bettered the 2005 US Outdoor Championship qualifying standards. In 2004, a total of 43 Olympic Trials qualifying marks were produced in the four days of similar competition. Olympians, NCAA Champions, and top Indiana athletes competed in these events in both 2004 and 2005.

Meet Director Greg Harger said, "The finale in Center Grove was a great way for fans to see some of our nation's best. They also had a great little preview of the US Outdoor Championships that will be in Indianapolis the next two years." Harger added, "Building this event into a keystone event for our community is something we look forward to working toward with the Center Grove and Bloomington communities. Center Grove did a great job in making this final day a fun, family event."
