World and Olympic 100 meter champion Justin Gatlin will be among the headliners at each of the three major events in Great Britain this year, Fast Track, organizers of the events, announced today.

The 24-year-old, who also won the 200 meter world title last year, will begin his British campaign at the Norwich Union British Grand Prix in Gateshead on June 11. He will also return to London's Crystal Palace for the Norwich Union London Grand Prix on July 28, followed by the Norwich Union International in Birmingham in August.

At the London meet last year, Gatlin won the 100 meters in 9.89, the fastest time ever produced on British soil. Gatlin has yet to compete in Gateshead or outdoors in Birmingham, where he captured the 2003 world indoor 60 meter title. In 2005, Gatlin won 12 of his 14 competitions in the 100 meters and currently carries a nine race win streak in the event.

Gatlin, who skipped this year's indoor campaign, will open his season at the Kansas Relays on April 22, where he will anchor the Speed Elite 4x100 meter relay squad.
