Photos by Victah / www.PhotoRun.net

1. Paula Radcliffe had her game face on as she line up for the 1500m, though she was racing well below her specialty of the marathon. Unfortunately Radcliffe was tripped up with about a lap to go, but recovered to place sixth in 4:13.13.

2. Olympic champ Liu Xiang won the 110 hurdles in a meet record and world-leading time of 13.06, but was disappointed not to face Allen Johnson, who was disqualified for a false start.

3. Lauryn Williams made short work of the 100 field that included LaTasha Colander, Muna Lee and Olympic champ Yuliya Nesterenko of Belarus. Williams' winning time was 11.16 into a headwind.

4. Maria Mutola added to her amazing streak in Eugene, winning the 800 at the Pre Classic for the 13th straight year in a world leading time of 1:59.95.

5. In the much anticipated special edition 2-mile, former high school phenoms and rising U.S. stars Dathan Ritzenhein and Alan Webb went head-to-head on the track for the first time in their young careers.

6. Kenyan Eliude Kipchoge proved to be the class of the 2-mile field, breaking the U.S. All-Comers record (formerly 8:14:53 by Bob Kennedy at the 1995 Pre Classic) with his time of 8:07.68.

7. After clocking a 4:02-4:03 opening mile, Webb hung on to finish second and set an American Record of 8:11.48. Ritzenhein, who is focused on 10K training, raced more cautiously and placed sixth in 8:23.45.
