miamiMarathon-8-26-09.gifDavid Scott , who worked in the University of Miami athletic department for 28 years, has been named General Manager and Race Director for US Road Sports & Entertainment of Florida , the organizing body of the ING Miami Marathon ® and a series of other endurance races in South Florida .

Scott replaces Ted Metellus, who was Race Director for the 2009 event.
